Diagnostic Radiologist - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania

Quantum Imaging has an opening to join our team and Evangelical Community Hospital.

  • Seeking a General Radiologist to be responsible for interpreting X-rays, CT Scans, MRI, Ultrasounds, Mammography and Nuclear Medicine – PET-CT.
  • Minor procedures including lumbar punctures, arthrograms, biopsies, and drainages.
  • Specialty training is a plus but not required.
  • Board Certification or Eligibility required.  PA State License required.
  • Fully digital department including GE PACS with integrated voice recognition.
  • Interested in a track to partnership position, other options will be considered.
  • Opportunity for evenings/night shifts remotely from home if desired.

Quantum’s support staff allows the radiologist to focus on radiology, as they submit paperwork for Quantum Imaging and Therapeutic Associates Inc.  Founded in 1926, Quantum has grown into a regional hospital based practice augmented by state of the art in-house IT and teleradiology services.

Our own unique PACS system allows immediate collaboration between health systems.  All subspecialties within radiology are represented including musculoskeletal, Neuro, women’s imaging and pediatric radiologists as well as academic level interventional radiology services.  While we are indeed a regional presence, our model is a hands on and personal approach to the provision of professional radiology services providing 24/7 to currently 5 major health systems and hospitals.

Physician Credentialing Specialist - Lewisberry, PA.

Join the Quantum team as a Physician Credentialing Specialist.

This position will responsible for overseeing the aspects of physician credentialing and privileging with all participating hospitals/health systems and insurance carriers, maintaining a database for PA Standard applications, privileges, & MQSA compliance.

  • Prepares and maintains applications for annual malpractice, insurance renewals, health system reappointments, and planning workflow to meet all deadlines.
  • Monitors work for legal and regulatory compliance, manages workflow steadily.
  • Oversees Physician applications for Mcare via on-line applications process and submit final authorization letters to the malpractice carrier in time allowed as required by Mcare and/or the insurance commissioner.
  • Preparing and submitting the renewal of all physicians’ medical licenses and DEA licenses by the respective licensing boards
  • Maintains credentialing paperwork files electronically and hardcopy. Responsible for records maintenance.
  • Delegates work assignment to appropriate team members.
  • Maintains database for PA standard applications, hospital privileges, continued medical education (CME) courses, malpractice cases, CAQH, and MQSA compliance.
  • Coordinates requirements: of hospital medical affairs departments and physician’s signatures, insurance enrollment departments and physician’s signatures, etc.
  • Develops and maintains of relationships with current and future payer representatives.
  • Responsible for any incoming malpractice cases naming Quantum and/or Quantum physicians and/or staff. Responsible for reporting malpractice complaints to the respective malpractice carriers. Reports any malpractice cases naming Quantum physicians to the State Board of Medicine as required by Act 13 of March 20, 2002.
  • Assists attorneys representing Quantum and/or Quantum physicians and/or staff in obtaining imaging reports and billing information as needed for any malpractice cases.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma/GED and/or relative years of experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years credentialing/enrollment experience
  • Demonstrated experience with insurance carrier credentialing, re-credentialing, hospital privileging and re-appointment, etc.
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines, multi-tasking required.
  • Demonstrated above average organizational skills, attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

DESIRABLE:

  • Prior work experience in radiology practice.
  • Knowledge of NCQA and MSQA guidelines.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Individual must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and be able to meet deadlines efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • 1-2 years of medical credentialing/enrollment experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with insurance carrier credentialing and re-appointments.
Accounting Clerk - Lewisberry, PA.

Quantum Imaging & Therapeutic Associates Inc. is seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

  • Verify and process invoices including obtaining proper approval and proper general ledger coding.
  • Create weekly disbursement files for approval; print and prepare vouchers for check signing.
  • Prepare and submit monthly sales and use tax filings.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of vendor files.
  • Responsible for year-end 1099 filings.

GENERAL ACCOUNTING

  • Provide support related to corporate credit card reconciliations.
  • Assist with other projects or assignments as needed.
  • Maintain files and related documentation in an organized manner.

QUALIFICATIONS/PREFERRED EXPEREINCE

  • Previous Accounts Payable Experience 1+ years.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is mandatory.
  • Organized and self-directed with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities to complete duties in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to interface effectively both internally and externally.
  • Ability to perform calculations for items such as discounts, sales tax, and quantity conversions.
  • Experience with SAGE and/or other similar accounting systems is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
