Bio

Dr. Anand Jagannath MD graduated with honors from State University of New York in Stony Brook, NY, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.  He received his Doctor of Medicine in 1983 from Cornell University Medical College in New York, NY.  He conducted his internship in pathology at The New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center; he was a diplomate on the National Board of Medical Examiners and later became chief resident at the facility.  His residency in diagnostic radiology included rotations at The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, also in New York, NY.  He continued his education with a fellowship in interventional and cardiovascular radiology at The New York Hospital.

Dr. Jagannath joined Quantum as a diagnostic radiologist in 1989 and has been an integral part of the team, serving on numerous boards and committees within both the company and medical community. Positions include the committees of Operative Invasive; Strategic Planning; PACS Implementation; Professional Affairs; and Chairman of Credentials, amongst others. He was Chairman of the Department of Radiology for seven years, President of the Medical Staff and served on the Board of Directors at Holy Spirit Hospital.  Currently, he is the Medical Director at Harrisburg Area Community College in the Ultrasound Technologist Training Program.  Dr. Jagannath has given many presentations and lectures to the local community and is continually imparting service, from training technologists and residents to providing medical care.
