Bio
Dr. Patricia Barry-Lane, MD, PhD received her Bachelor of Science at Simmons College in Boston, MA. She earned her Doctor in Medicine at the University of Texas, Medical Branch in Galveston, TX., where she made the dean’s list for two consecutive years, received the Zelda Zinn Casper Scholar, the Robert Harrison MD Memorial Award and received the Blocker Scholar Fellow two successive years. Dr. Barry-Lane attended Penn State, Milton Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA where she conducted her internship in internal medicine and her residency in diagnostic radiology. Her fellowship was conducted in cardiothoracic radiology at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. She holds a PhD in biological chemistry and genetics from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Quantum welcomed Dr. Barry-Lane in 2008 and she is currently the section chief of cardiac imaging.
